The PRocess
I. explore.
Begin by exploring the collections designed to support a wide range of wedding days. With over 10+ years in the industry, rest assured each option is thoughtfully structured to provide meaningful coverage while remaining flexible to your needs. You’ll also have the opportunity to build your own personalized collection, including photography, videography, hair, makeup, and even bridal boudoir sessions. This step allows you to familiarize yourself with what’s offered and consider what best aligns with your vision, timeline, and priorities.
II. connect.
Every session starts with a conversation.
The step allows us to align on availability, vision, timing, and expectations before anything is booked. Share your details, ask questions, and let me learn more about what you are hoping for. From here, we’ll move thoughtfully toward a tailored experience designed around you.
I will send you a proposal based on your interests, outlining your personalized options and next steps so you can review everything before making a decision.
III. secure.
Now you know we are available, you're completely confident that we're your team and already know the package you want! Time to book. Head over to your proposal we sent via email; choose your offerings, sign the proposal & Voila! We are booked. You may also click the 'Commit' button below.
Immediately following the booking process, you'll start receiving step-by-step directives guiding you all the way through the process. Our goal is to take the 'work' out of it, so you can merely ENJOY the process!

There really aren’t enough words or praise I can put in writing for them. Out of all the amazing vendors we got to work with, Kortney Brook Photography was the most professional, thoughtful and amazing vendor. What is your style?
Organic. Simple. Timeless portraits are characterized by their ability to transcend trends and evoke a sense of enduring beauty, elegance, and authenticity. These portraits capture the essence of the subject in a way that remains relevant and emotionally resonant over time. We focus on capturing the individual's personality, emotions, and unique qualities, rather than adhering to fleeting fashion or stylistic trends. Portraits should emphasize simplicity, even light, and classic compositions to create images that stand the test of time and hold enduring value for both the subject and the viewer. Timeless portraits serve as cherished keepsakes that evoke nostalgia, inspire reflection, and celebrate the timeless beauty of the human spirit.
Do you travel outside the SWMO area?
Of course! Mileage is included! If the chosen package plus travel time is greater than 12 hours, hotel accommodations may be required. All of this will be discussed during our chat, prior to booking, but is also covered in full in our contract.
Do you offer Videography?
Yes! You can bundle videography with any package. Visit the Videography Page for more info.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! We are always up for an adventure. Destination Details will be discussed and a custom collection designed during our Phone/In-person Chat. Some fees may even be waived on select destinations. Click the Connect tab to get started.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Absolutely! We do our best to account for adequate time during our One-on-One Itinerary prep, but sometimes we are just having so much fun that it calls for more time.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You sure don't. Your images come with a print release for you to take to your distributor of choice.
However, we offer the highest quality and simplest print option from your online gallery directly to your doorstep within days. Kortney Brook Photography cannot guarantee quality printed outside our studios.
Do you offer a payment plan?
We do. A non-refundable retainer is required at booking and payments are accepted up until 30 days prior to your wedding day. These are details we will iron out at our consultation.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as possible. We book as far as 2 years in advance, so it's never too soon.
